You’ll learn from leading academics whose research shapes the field of applied linguistics and TESOL. Our particular expertise lies in: We also have extensive experience in related disciplines including, sociolinguistics, critical discourse analysis and corpus linguistics. You’ll study theoretical approaches to TESOL in the research environment of an academic department, and put these into practice in our English Language Teaching Centre (ELTC). During your studies you’ll focus on key areas of learning and teaching second languages, including: Through this unique combination of theory and practice, you'll develop an awareness of the theoretical principles underpinning TESOL practice and be equipped with the practical skills to work in diverse international educational contexts. 录取要求
Minimum 2:1 undergraduate honours degree in a relevant subject. We accept degrees in the following subject areas: We may consider other English or language-based degrees depending on the amount of linguistics and/or teaching modules studied. We assess each application on the basis of the applicant’s preparation and achievement as a whole. We may accept applicants whose qualifications don’t meet the published entry criteria but have other experience relevant to the course.
