课程概览
Whether you are starting your career in education, or are an experienced practitioner seeking to enhance your skills, this course will build on your existing expertise enabling you to develop an in-depth understanding of foundational theories and contemporary issues in the field of education. You’ll take your interest in education a step further, learning about the histories, philosophies and practices in education - giving you the knowledge and understanding to interpret recent trends and debates within educational research and the changing shape of education and schooling, both locally and internationally. You’ll develop a deep understanding of methods and theories in educational research, whilst choosing to specialise from a range of optional modules designed to give you specialist skills in the fields of psychology of learning and development, early childhood studies, languages education, neurodiversity and special educational needs, and the cutting-edge evolution of AI, digital literacies and creativity. You'll become an independent critical scholar in your chosen field - concluding your studies by carrying out an innovative research project on a topic of your choice, under the close supervision and guidance from our expert academics. Such a diverse and integrated base of knowledge and skills will establish you as a rigorous academic researcher and empower you to lead evidence-based change that will benefit learners and communities across a wide range of educational settings. This course is for students interested in gaining a MA in Education and is not a teaching qualification. However, interested graduates can choose to undertake further training to become a qualified teacher.
录取要求
Minimum 2:1 undergraduate honours degree in any subject. We assess each application on the basis of the applicant’s preparation and achievement as a whole. We may accept applicants whose qualifications don’t meet the published entry criteria but have other experience relevant to the course. Sometimes we may accept subjects or modules that aren’t listed, and sometimes we may not accept subjects or modules that are listed, depending on the content studied.
