Our LLM International Law and Global Justice is ideal if you’re seeking to build in-depth knowledge and expertise of international law, and understand its role in advancing justice in times of war and peace. In this LLM, you’ll: You’ll study at a degree designed to give you expertise in international law, at one of the UK’s top universities for graduate prospects in Law (The Times UK University Rankings 2026). This LLM is designed to prepare you for careers in both the private and public sectors, law firms, governments, international organisations, human rights and humanitarian NGOs, international arbitration, diplomacy/foreign service, and international criminal justice. Whether you’re a practising lawyer, work in the public or private sectors or want to deepen your expertise in international law, in our International and Global Justice LLM, you’ll join students from a range of backgrounds, including graduates from law, social sciences and international relations. You’ll be able to choose from a selection of modules covering a wide range of areas of international law while engaging with contemporary issues, building skills that are highly valued by employers in the UK and internationally. International Law and Global Justice is one of the pathways offered on theSheffield LLM. You can also choose to studyLLM Corporate and Commercial Law.
